The Free Wheels Project

KYN-onia along with Finnish Parliament member Mari Rantanen are working on the following project.  Each second year in Finland, wheelchairs are recalled by the government and new wheelchairs are given to the handicapped people of Finland.  The used wheelchairs are melted down for their metal. 

Here in Greece, in the hospitals and for private use, new wheelchairs are scarce.
Mrs. Rantanen and KYN-onia are joining forces to transport a good number of these used wheelchairs yearly from Finland to Greece.  KYN-onia would like to distribute these wheelchairs to underprivileged families and hospitals.
